When you attend my adults’ classes, you’ll emerge feeling renewed, refreshed, and balanced in your body and mind.
I’ve been told that you’ll be ready for a great night’s sleep after my evening classes too!
Allow me to guide you through a Hatha Flow sequence designed to gently build strength and flexibility in a safe way. Sometimes I also incorporate meridian-based exercises to bring balance to specific areas of the body.
We’re all unique individuals with our own individual bodies and experiences. This environment is pressure-free, so you won’t feel like your postures need to look a certain way, or that you need to push yourself into positions that don’t suit your body.
I’ll give you options to either take the postures gently and slowly, or to give yourself a little challenge if it feels right for you on the day. In each class I’ll remind you to check in with how your body’s feeling, and to trust your own judgement on what feels right for you in the moment.
What you can expect
You’ll experience nourishing rest at the end with a guided meditation or Yoga Nidra tailored to the class. I’ll also guide you through Yogic breathing techniques, and explain how you can use these techniques outside your Yoga practice, to reduce stress and anxiety and regulate your emotions.
I promise by the end of class you’ll feel completely different to how you felt when you walked in.
We practice together in a small welcoming group and a relaxed environment.
You just need a basic level of fitness for this class
We'll build strength, coordination and flexibility together, regardless of how flexible or coordinated you think you are right now.
If you’re thinking about joining us, come and give it a go. You can attend your first class for the casual rate to “try before you buy” and sign up for the whole term.
If you sign up for the term, you’ll also receive access to a library of class recordings, so that if you miss a class you can still practice in your own time.
There will be no shared equipment so each student must please bring their own mat.
Optional-bring 1 or 2 blocks and a bolster. However options will be provided for those without these props. Some people like using the props to make certain postures more accessible, or in some cases harder.
There are a few parking spaces on-site and more on the street.
